Food differences between US and UK

  Americans and Britons have very different food cultures. Americans have a large variety of foods from all around the world, while British cuisine is typically very traditional, consisting of dishes such as bangers and mash, fish and chips, and shepherd's pie. The two cultures also have different attitudes towards food: while Americans tend to eat quickly and mindlessly, Britons take their time while eating, savouring each bite.  American food names Americans have a long history of using food to identify and describe communities, such as with the use of biscuits to symbolize Southern culture. The southern states have a reputation for producing the best biscuits as well as the best barbeques. These southern-style desserts have often been associated with the Southern United States.
